Fair4All Finance undertakes a range of activities to deliver its mission to make the financial services sector fairer for everyone, and to help the 17.5m people in financially vulnerable circumstances.
This activity takes many shapes, and can involve both investing directly into organisations, and commissioning organisations to test financial services propositions that serve customers in vulnerable circumstances – both involve the provision of capital, alongside other funding.
When it comes to providing our capital for lending and other activities, it’s important that this lending is ring-fenced, and that we have a number of different ways to deliver it. That’s why we’re seeking advice on creating a blueprint for the creation of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) and the practical support to set them up.
We expect these SPVs to primarily cover lending operations, although they may also be used in other test environments eg. savings or insurance testing.
We’ve broken this work down into distinct requirements:
- Lot 1: Special Purpose Vehicle blueprints
- Lot 2a: Legal advisor
- Lot 2b: Managing agent
- Lot2c: Fail over lender / standby lender or provider
