Introducing our refreshed strategy

Fair4All Finance are pleased to publish our refreshed strategy for increasing the financial resilience and wellbeing of people in vulnerable circumstances.

It’s time for transforming the financial services system to ensure it serves all people, whatever their situation.

In refreshing our strategy we’ve had insightful and thoughtful input from many people across the sector as we’ve been developing our plans. This feedback has been crucial in helping us zero in on the right priorities – the ones where we can have the most impact.

We’re focusing on 3 key strategic priorities

You can read more about these and our plans for 2021 and beyond in our refreshed strategy document.

Sacha Romanovitch, CEO of Fair4All Finance said:

“The Covid-19 crisis is a stark reminder that none of us are far away from the life events or health problems that can create financial vulnerability. It’s also shown just what can be achieved when the whole financial services sector – regulators, policy makers and providers – work together towards a common goal of providing better support for customers in vulnerable circumstances.

For far too long these customers have been talked about as a problem area or risk to be managed. We want to re-frame that as a massive opportunity for the whole financial services sector. Do it right and you can make a huge difference to the lives of millions of people. Do it wrong and you risk missing out on engaging and building loyalty with a large part of the UK population.”

By improving the availability of fair and accessible financial products and services, ones that will help people meet their day-to-day financial needs, absorb shocks and smooth incomes, we can provide people with pathways to better financial health and wellbeing.

We know that to do this we need to be a catalyst for systemic change across the whole financial services sector, building on all the great work that’s happening in this space already.

So have a read through our plans and let us know what you think. And if you have any questions or want to know more about any of the work we’re planning, then please do get in touch.

We look forward to continuing to work with the whole financial services sector to create a fairer financial system for the people who need it most.
