Upcoming Cyber Security webinars for community finance providers
We’ve teamed up with the National Cyber Security Centre (part of GCHQ) to bring community finance providers two Cyber Security webinars as the next module in our Technology Toolkit.
Cyber Security for Board members, Tuesday 13 July 2021 at 12pm to 1.15pm
- The National Cyber Security Centre will explain the role of the Board in cyber security
- And they will introduce their Board Toolkit that gives the Board members the tools to fulfil their cyber security responsibilities
Cyber Security for Executive management, Tuesday 20 July 2021 at 12pm to 1.15pm
- We will explore the role of Executive management and technology leaders in keeping their organisation safe
- The National Cyber Security Centre will introduce their free resources and training courses and explain how you can embed them in your organisations
Community finance providers rely on digital technology in order to function, from customer interactions through to decisioning tools and back office processing.
Good cyber security protects your ability to function and enables your organisation to exploit the opportunities that technology brings. It’s central to your organisation’s health and resilience, which makes it a key responsibility for both the Board and Executive management.
High profile media coverage on the impact of cyber incidents and new regulations such as GDPR have raised the expectations of partners, shareholders, customers and the wider public. Quite simply, organisations – and board members especially – have to get to grips with cyber security.
We look forward to seeing you there. And don’t worry if you can’t make the date – we’ll be recording and sharing the session so you can catch up when you have time.
